Bleaching powder (calcium hypochlorite blend, CAS 7778-54-3 family, ~30–35% available chlorine) from Drashti Chemicals Vadodara is the solid chlorine path for rural water schemes, swimming pools and small ETPs where bunded liquid hypo tanks are impractical. Make a 1–2% slurry in plastic tanks; calcium hydroxide fines settle — decant clear supernatant for dosing. Typical disinfection is single-digit mg/L available chlorine; high-dose colour oxidation on effluent is a different program with chlorinated byproduct risk — state your duty on RFQ.
