TCCA 90 Granules for Swimming Pool Water Treatment

TCCA (trichloroisocyanuric acid) contains 90% available chlorine — a stable, slow-dissolving solid chlorinating agent.

Dissolves slowly in water, releasing hypochlorous acid (HOCl) for sustained disinfection over 3–7 days depending on bather load.

Cyanuric acid stabiliser is built into TCCA molecule, protecting chlorine from UV degradation in outdoor pools.

Available as 90% granules, 200g tablets and 20g tablets for different dosing applications.

Maintain free chlorine residual at 1–3 mg/L and pH at 7.2–7.6 for effective disinfection and bather comfort.

Initial dose: 2–3 g TCCA per cubic metre of pool water; daily maintenance dose based on bather load and chlorine test results.

Monitor cyanuric acid level — should not exceed 100 mg/L; high levels reduce chlorine effectiveness (over-stabilisation).
