Anhydrous vs hydrate — write the form on the RFQ
Glauber’s salt (decahydrate) carries crystal water; anhydrous Na₂SO₄ is what most detergent bulk-density formulas and many dye recipes assume when they quote “sulphate filler.” The COA must say anhydrous basis or show Na₂SO₄ assay on dry matter — not only “sodium sulphate” without hydrate clarity.
If you are switching from hydrate to anhydrous, recalculate filler load — equal bag weight is not equal Na₂SO₄ content. Share your current COA scan so the desk matches chemistry, not just the product name on the invoice.
Grade signals buyers actually check
Detergent filler: focus on consistent assay, low insolubles, and mesh that matches your slurry or dry mix bulk density. Low-iron and tighter colour specs matter for glass and some premium dyeing — state “glass” or “dye house” on the RFQ, not only “industrial.”
At equal assay, the molecule is the same. For repeat plants, attach the last accepted COA; we quote the closest in-stock lot before dispatch.
Packing, storage and monsoon handling
Typical supply is 50 kg HDPE-lined bags on pallets. Store off a wet floor — even anhydrous material picks up moisture and cakes in monsoon sheds. First-in-first-out matters when you run high-speed powder lines; lumpy filler changes bulk density and bag weights.
